So you're gonna do the lawn yourself.
So you have decided to forgo hiring a lawn care service and have decided to do the lawn yourself. You are hoping to save money and have made a commitment to put all the labor into your yard this season. Why not you say, "I can handle this!". I cannot tell you how many yards end up weed-bound, burnt, barren, or worse than when this became a "project". The intentions were good when you started but several key factors were not considered when you undertook this challenge. Soil type, erosion, grass seed, ph level, weed control plan, watering, fertilizer, germination of seed, sunlight, and many other factors were not considered. Now your beginning to see what can go wrong when you don't fully understand what you are doing. Let me ask you a question? Would you consider working on your own electrical system in your home? I would guess you wouldn't unless you were skilled in working on electrical systems. Well, the same goes for lawn care. Unless you know what you are doing, I wouldn't recommend doing your own lawn care unless you know what you are doing. Otherwise, you may be left wondering how much this "mess" just cost you.
