Does your lawn service do this?
So you have hired a lawn service to cut your lawn this season. Maybe you are too busy or unable to mow your lawn yourself or maybe your hoping that the lawn service you hired will turn your lawn into your neighbor's envy. A few months into the season and your lawn is cut but has weeds, bare patches, weak looking grass, and looks worse than it did before you hired the service. What happened here? Well, most likely you hired a lawn service without clearly communicating what your expectations were and the lawn service failed to assess your lawn care needs. This happens all of the time to customers who are left wondering why they hired a lawn care guy in the first place.
Wathen Lawn Care always conducts a lawn survey to assess the current condition of the lawn and see what additional services may benefit the customer beyond just mowing the grass. If the customer is concerned about the health of the lawn, we will conduct a soil sample test of the lawn to see what the lawn may require to ensure that the lawn is in the best condition as possible. Some lawn care companies offer this service, but most lawn care services don't. We believe that this is very important to the well being of the lawn. The soil test will show what types of nutrients the lawn lacks and how much fertilizer and other nutrients the lawn needs. A thorough lawn survey will also indicate if the lawn needs aerated, is weed bound, or has bare patches, or other issues that need addressed.
So, be sure to address these issues with your lawn care service provider early in the season so you have ample time throughout the season to address any concerns.
